THOMAS NARCISO DANIELS

Thomas N. Daniels, a seasoned Accredited Mediator, is a Canadian Forces Veteran with over 42 years’ experience in Dispute/Conflict resolution. His interest in Dispute/Conflict Resolution sparked in 1978 while deployed to Cyprus as a Peacekeeper with The United Nations Peacekeeping Forces in Cyprus (UNFICYP), for which he was awarded The United Nations Force in Cyprus Medal and The Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal in the Service of Peace. He is the holder of a Double Major bachelor’s degree in law and Society and Political Science from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  He has trained with and acquired dispute resolution certifications in Family Mediation and Arbitration.  In 1996, he trained as a Family and Divorce Mediator with The Legal Education Society of Alberta (LESA), Canada. He then participated in The Pilot Project of The Alberta Justice Provincial Court Annexed Mediation Program. Thomas successfully mediated 12 mediations during his first year with the program and was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by Alberta Justice. Thomas specializes in Family and Separation Conflicts and has trained in Comprehensive Family and Divorce Mediation, Workplace Mediation, and Advanced Family Mediation. He is a Certified Trainer of Trainers in Comprehensive Family and Divorce Mediation and accredited by The Mediation Accreditation Committee for Family and Commercial disputes by the Judiciary of Kenya.  Thomas is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute Canada (Alberta Chapter), Family Mediation Canada, and The Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.
